Abstract

Latar Belakang : Masalah gizi yang sering terjadi pada masa ini berhubungan erat dengan risiko penyakit kronis yaitu Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK). Wanita hamil yang kekurangan gizi dapat berisiko lebih tinggi untuk mengalami hasil kehamilan yang buruk, termasuk melahirkan bayi dengan berat badan lahir rendah. Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kekurangan energi kronis (KEK) pada ibu hamil dengan kejadian bayi berta lahir rendah (BBLR) di UPTD Puskesmas Tanah Kuning. Metode Penelitian : Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 91 responden. Uji analisis penelitian ini menggunakan uji fisher’s exact. Hasil Penelitian : berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai p 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti terdapat hubungan kekurangan energi kronis pada ibu hamil dengan kejadian bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) di UPTD Puskesmas Tanah Kuning. Kesimpulan : terdapat hubungan kekurangan energi kronis pada ibu hamil dengan kejadian bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR) di UPTD Puskesmas Tanah Kuning. Background: Common nutritional problems during this period are closely related to the risk of chronic disease, namely Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). Pregnant women who are malnourished are at higher risk of poor pregnancy outcomes, including giving birth to babies with low birth weight. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies at Tanah Kuning PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER. Methods: The study used a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 91 respondents. The analysis of this study used the Fisher's exact test. Results: Based on the analysis, a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) was obtained, indicating a relationship between chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies at the Tanah Kuning Community Health Center (UPTD). Conclusion: There is a relationship between chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies at the Tanah Kuning Community Health Center (UPTD).
