Abstract

Pendahuluan Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) jangka panjang, khususnya penggunaan alat kontrasepsi dalam rahim atau Intrauterine Device (IUD), memiliki sejumlah manfaat signifikan dalam mendukung kesehatan reproduksi perempuan sekaligus mencegah berbagai masalah kesehatan yang dapat timbul akibat kehamilan yang tidak direncanakan. Tujuan Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemilihan kontrasepsi IUD berdasarkan Puskesmas Sekatak tahun 2025. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analitik observasional. Populasi berjumlah 117 ibu akseptor, dengan sampel sebanyak 90 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden beperngetahuan cukup (40%), 46 orang (51,1%) dalam kategori primipara, 71 orang (78,9%) berada dalam kelompok usia 20–35, Sebanyak 60 orang (66,7%) bukan akseptor IUD, Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan pemilihan IUD dengan pengetahuan ibu (p-value 0.417). Ada hubungan paritas ibu dengan pemilihan IUD (p-value 0.000). Ada hubungan usia ibu dengan pemilihan IUD (p-value 0.005). Introduction Long-term family planning programs, particularly the use of intrauterine devices (IUDs) (IUD), of ers significant benefits in supporting women's reproductive health while preventing various health issues that may arise from unintended pregnancies. The Purpose of the Research of this study is to analyze the factors associated with the selection of long-term contraception (IUD) based on the Sekatak Community Health Centerin 2025. The research method employs a quantitative design with an observational analytical approach. The population consists of 117 contraceptive users, with a sample of 90 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire that had been validated for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that most respondents had adequate knowledge (40%), 46 individuals (51.1%) were primiparous, 71 individuals (78.9%) were in the 20–35 age group, 60 respondents (66.7%) were not IUD acceptors. The Chi-Square test showed no association between IUD selection and maternal knowledge (p-value 0.417). There was an association between maternal parity and IUD selection (p-value 0.000). There was an association between maternal age and IUD selection (p-value 0.005).
