Abstract

Metode: Jenis penelitiаn menggunаkаn penelitiаn kuаntitаtif dengаn desаin penelitiаn deskriptif korelаsionаl dengаn pendekаtаn cross sectionаl. Populаsi penelitiаn аdаlаh seluruh ibu hamil di UPTD Puskesmas Karang Rejo tahun 2022 dаn teknik pengаmbilаn sаmpel menggunаkаn total sаmpling sebаnyаk 388 orаng. Pengumpulаn dаtа menggunаkаn lembar observasi. Аnаlisis dаtа аdаlаh univаriаt dаn аnаlisis bivаriаt menggunаkаn uji chi squаre (χ2). Background: Pre-eclampsia is a specific condition in pregnancy characterised by placental dysfunction and a maternal response to systemic inflammation with endothelial activation and coagulation. Factors that can influence the incidence of preeclampsia are age, parity and body mass index (BMI) of pregnant women. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at the Karang Rejo Health Centre, data on coverage of pregnant women in 2022 was obtained, namely coverage of pregnant women in K1 as many as 388 people, K4 as many as 388 people. This research aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of pre-eclampsia in the Karang Rejo Health Centre. Method: This type of research uses quantitative research with a descriptive correlational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was all pregnant women at the Karang Rejo Health Centre in 2022, and the sampling technique used was a total sampling of 388 people. Data collection uses observation sheets. Data analysis includes univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi square test (χ2). Results: The age description of pregnant women in the risk category is 110 people (28.4%), and the no-risk is 278 people (71.6%). Description of parity among pregnant women in the risk category, namely 115 people (29.6%), and the no-risk, namely 273 people (70.4%). Description of body mass index (BMI) in pregnant women in the low weight BMI category, namely 6 people (1.6%), in the normal BMI, namely 260 people (67%) and in the obese BMI, namely 122 people (31.4%). Description of the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women in the pre-eclampsia category, namely 108 people (27.8%), and the non-pre-eclampsia, namely 280 people (72.2%) The results of the chi square statistical test (χ2) obtained a ρ value < α (0.05), indicating that Ha was accepted. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, parity, and body mass index (BMI) and the incidence of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women at the Karang Rejo Health Centre. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as material for consideration in carrying out preventive and curative measures in cases of preeclampsia based on age, parity and body mass index (BMI) of pregnant women.
