Abstract

Latar Belakang: Keluarga Berencana adalah suatu upaya untuk mencapai kesejahteraan dengan memberikan nasehat perkawinan, pengobatan kemandulan, dan pengendalian kelahiran. Rendahnya jumlah peserta KB IUD disebabkan karena beberapa faktor seperti tingkat pengetahuan terhadap alat kontrasepsi merupakan pertimbangan dalam menentukan metode kontrasepsi yang digunakan. Metode: Penelitian ini berjenis kuantitatif dengan desain kolerasi, dengan pendekatan crossectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan tekhnik total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 65 responden. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan mengumpulkan data kuesioner yang kemudian di olah menggunakan SPSS untuk dapat mendeskripsikan pengaruh antara dua variabel. Abstrak Hasil: Hasil analisis statistik hubungan tingkat pengetahuan responden dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi khususnya IUD menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan secara bermakna, hal ini dilihat dari nilai signifikansi uji bivariat 0,663 > 0,05. Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu terhadap penggunaan kontrasepsi KB IUD di desa Singkoyo kecamatan Toili kabupaten Banggai Sulawesi Tengah. Abstract Background: Family planning is an effort to achieve prosperity by providing marriage advice, infertility treatment and birth control. The low number of IUD family planning participants is due to several factors such as the level of knowledge about contraceptives which is a consideration in determining which contraceptive method to use. Method: This research is quantitative with a correlational design, with a cross-sectional approach. This research used a total sampling technique with a sample size of 65 respondents. Research data was collected by collecting questionnaire data which was then processed using SPSS to be able to describe the influence between two variables. Results: The results of statistical analysis of the relationship between respondents' level of knowledge and the use of contraception, especially IUDs, show that there is no significant difference, this can be seen from the bivariate test significance value of 0.663 > 0.05. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the use of IUD contraception in Singkoyo village, Toili subdistrict, Banggai district, Central Sulawesi.
