Abstract

Latar Belakang : Keselamatan pasien ialah salah satu indikator mutu pelayanan di Rumah Sakit. Jatuhnya pasien rawat inap merupakan indikator yang mewakili kualitas pelayanan dan masalah keselamatan pasien yang dapat dicegah. Melakukan Intervensi resiko jatuh merupakan langkah penting dalam memastikan keselamatan pasien, terutama pada pasien yang berisiko tinggi terjatuh. Terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu dimonitor oleh perawat dalam konteks pencegahan risiko jatuh. Namun, Sebagian perawat seringkali tidak patuh dalam melakukan Intervensi Resiko Jatuh Pasien Tujuan : Mengetahui gambaran kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan intervensi resiko jatuh Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan Survei. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 130 Responden dan Sampel berjumlah 98 Responden perawat pelaksana bangsal rawat inap psikiatri. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Hasil Penelitian : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan perawat yang patuh dalam melakukan intervensi pencegahan resiko jatuh sebanyak 78 responden, dan perawat yang tidak patuh dalam melakukan intervensi pencegahan resiko jatuh sebanyak 20 responden Kesimpulan : Kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan Intervensi pencegahan resiko jatuh sebagian besar termasuk kategori baik, yakni sebanyak 78 responden (79,6%). Responden yang tidak patuh berjumlah 20 responden (20,4%). Saran : Perawat hendaknya lebih patuh dalam melakukan intervensi pencegahan resiko jatuh pasien skizofrenia. Background: Patient safety is one of the indicators of quality of service in hospital. The incident of patient falling is one of the indicators that represents the quality of care and problem that can be prevented. Carrying out the intervention for the risk of falling is crucial in ensuring the patient’s safety, especially for the ones prone to fall. There are several aspects required for monitoring by nurse within the context of preventing the patient from falling. However, half of the nurses often found to be non-compliant in carrying out the intervention for the risk of falling for patients.Research Objective: Identifying the account of nurse carrying out the compliance in intervening the risk of falling. Research Method: The research is quantitative study with research design of descriptive study applying survei approach. Population for this research consisted of 130 respondents and sample is 98 respondent of nurses from the psychiatric ward. Samples were taken with the method of Purposive Sampling. Results: Based on the analytic test, it was found there were 78 nurses as respondent that were compliant in conducting intervention of the risk of falling, and nurses who were non-compliant in doing the intervention of the risk of falling were 20 respondents. Conclusion: The nurse’s compliance in conducting intervention of the risk of falling found to be the majority and considered as good, which were 78 respondents (79,6%), Respondent who are non-compliant were 20 respondents (20,4%). Suggestion: Nurses should be more compliant in intervening for the prevention of the risk of falling in the schizophrenic patients.
