Abstract

Latar belakang : Diabetes mellitus tipe 2 adalah penyakit kronis yang tidak dapat diobati tanpa pengobatan. Pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 mendapatkan berbagai perawatan medis karena tingginya insiden komplikasi yang menempatkan mereka pada risiko tinggi terkait masalah obat (DRPs). Tujuan dilakukanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kategori Drug Related Problems (DRPs) yang sering terjadi pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Bergas. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan retroprospektif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang diperoleh dari pengambilan data rekam medik sebanyak 18 sampel. Analisis DRPs berdasarkan klasifikasi PCNE V8.2. Hasil : Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 63 kasus dari 18 sampel pasien yang mengalami kejadian DRPs. Jumlah pasien perempuan lebih banyak dibandingkan laki-laki yaitu sebanyak 14 pasien dengan rentang usia 56 – 65. Penyakit penyerta paling banyak adalah dislipidemia sebanyak 9 pasien. Kategori DRPs yang terjadi yaitu tidak ada efek terapi obat sebanyak 10 kasus (16%), efek terapi obat tidak optimal sebanyak 20 kasus (32%), gejala atau indikasi yang tidak diterapi sebanyak 10 kasus (16%), tidak ada indikasi untuk obat sebanyak 6 kasus (10%) dan interaksi obat sebanyak 17 kasus (27%). Simpulan : Telah terjadi Drug Related Problems (DRPs) pada pasien DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Bergas dengan prevalensi kategori DRPs yang paling banyak adalah efek terapi obat tidak optimal (32%) dan interaksi obat (27%).
