Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pola kontraksi uterus yang optimal sangat penting dalam proses persalinan, karena dapat memengaruhi kelancaran, kenyamanan, dan keamanan ibu serta bayi. Namun, masih banyak ibu bersalin yang mengalami pola kontraksi tidak teratur atau lemah sehingga meningkatkan risiko persalinan lama dan komplikasi. Akupresur sebagai salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis, khususnya pada titik SP6 (Sanyinjiao) dan BL32 (Ciliao), berpotensi memperbaiki pola kontraksi pada ibu bersalin. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian akupresur pada titik SP6 (Sanyinjiao) dan BL32 (Ciliao) terhadap pola kontraksi pada ibu bersalin di UPTD RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest and posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu bersalin primigravida fase aktif kala I di UPTD RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor pada bulan Maret 2025, dengan sampel sebanyak 15 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi berupa akupresur pada titik SP6 dan BL32 selama 20–30 menit setiap 30 menit. Data pola kontraksi diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan lembar observasi dan partograf. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pola kontraksi setelah pemberian akupresur pada titik SP6 dan BL32 yang ditandai dengan peningkatan frekuensi, durasi, dan intensitas kontraksi pada ibu bersalin. Uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pola kontraksi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi akupresur (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Pemberian akupresur pada titik SP6 (Sanyinjiao) dan BL32 (Ciliao) terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam memperbaiki pola kontraksi pada ibu bersalin. Akupresur dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif intervensi non-farmakologis yang efektif untuk mendukung proses persalinan yang optimal. Background: Optimal uterine contraction patterns are crucial in the labor process, as they can impact the smoothness, comfort, and safety of both mother and baby. However, many women experiencing irregular or weak contraction patterns increase the risk of prolonged labor and complications. Acupressure, a non-pharmacological intervention, specifically at the SP6 (Sanyinjiao) and BL32 (Ciliao) points, has the potential to improve contraction patterns in women in labor. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of acupressure at the SP6 (Sanyinjiao) and BL32 (Ciliao) points on contraction patterns in women in labor at the UPTD RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Method: The study used a pre-experimental design with a pretest and posttest approach without a control group. The study population was all primigravida women in active phase of the first stage of labor at the UPTD RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor in March 2025, with a sample of 15 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The intervention consisted of acupressure at points SP6 and BL32 for 20–30 minutes every 30 minutes. Contraction pattern data were measured before and after the intervention using observation sheets and a partograph. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: The study showed an improvement in contraction patterns after acupressure at points SP6 and BL32, characterized by an increase in the frequency, duration, and intensity of contractions in laboring mothers. Statistical tests showed a significant difference between contraction patterns before and after the acupressure intervention (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Acupressure at points SP6 (Sanyinjiao) and BL32 (Ciliao) has been shown to significantly improve contraction patterns in laboring mothers. Acupressure can be an effective alternative non-pharmacological intervention to support optimal labor.
