Abstract

Latar Belakang: Menyusui sejak dini mempunyai dampak positif bagi ibu dan bayi. Bagi bayi, menyusui memainkan peran mendasar dan penting dalam kelangsungan hidup mereka. Kolostrum kaya akan antibodi, yang bermanfaat untuk pertumbuhan, kesehatan, dan nutrisi bayi. Kolostrum adalah ASI yang keluar pada beberapa hari pertama dan berwarna bening atau putih kekuningan. Persalinan normal masih menjadi pilihan pertama bagi ibu. Selain itu dengan mendorong upaya inisiasi menyusui dini mampu meningkatkan manfaat kesehatan bagi ibu dan bayi, khususnya keuntungan imunologis kolostrum. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolostrum cenderung dikeluarkan lebih cepat pada persalinan normal dibandingkan dengan operasi Caesar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan jenis persalinan dengan waktu keluarnya kolostrum. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitis dengan desain cohort prospektif untuk memantau waktu pengeluaran kolostrum pada ibu post partum sesuai dengan jenis persalinannya. Teknik Sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling, dengan sample 30 orang ibu post partum, yang telah melahirkan di RSUD dr. Gondo Suwarno Ungaran pada bulan Juni 2025. Alat penelitian berupa lembar observasi untuk menilai waktu pengeluaran kolostrum. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai p sebesar 0,000 yang mana lebih kecil dari taraf signifikasi (p<0,05), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis persalinan dengan waktu pengeluaran kolostrum pada ibu post partum di RSUD dr. Gondo Suwarno Ungaran. Background: Early breastfeeding has a positive impact on both mothers and babies. For babies, breastfeeding plays a fundamental and crucial role in their survival. Colostrum is rich in antibodies, which are beneficial for the growth, health, and nutrition of babies. Colostrum is the breast milk that comes out in the first few days and is clear or yellowish-white in color. Normal delivery remains the first choice for mothers. Furthermore, encouraging early initiation of breastfeeding can increase the health benefits for mothers and babies, especially the immunological benefits of colostrum. Various studies have shown that colostrum tends to be released sooner in normal deliveries compared to Caesarean sections. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the type of delivery and the timing of colostrum release. Methods: This study used an analytical observational method with a prospective cohort design to monitor the timing of colostrum release in postpartum mothers according to the type of delivery. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, with a sample of 30 postpartum mothers who had given birth at Dr. Gondo Suwarno Ungaran Regional Hospital in June 2025. The research tool was an observation sheet to assess the timing of colostrum release. Results: The results of the study showed a p-value of 0.000 which is smaller than the significance level (p<0.05), so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between the type of delivery and the time of colostrum excretion in postpartum mothers at Dr. Gondo Suwarno Ungaran Regional General Hospital.
