Abstract

Latar Belakang : Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak ke masa dewasa dan menjadi tahapan penting dalam kehidupan seseorang. Faktanya, pada masa remaja sering kali mengalami kendala pada kinerja akademik atau prestasinya, oleh karena itu mengapa siswa harus mampu mengatasi stres (Koping Stress) dengan baik. Koping berkaitan dengan situasi stres, reaksi emosional, termasuk kemarahan dan depresi, dapat dianggap sebagai bagian dari proses penanggulangan, begitu pula tindakan sukarela yang diambil sebagai respon terhadap peristiwa yang membuat stres. Family therapy adalah cara baru untuk mengetahui permasalahan seseorang, memahami individu, perkembangan symptom dan cara pemecahannya. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Family Therapy terhadap koping remaja tingkat akhir di SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Desain penelitian penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental dengan one group pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini kelas XII SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah Teknik Purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 47 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner Brief COPE Inventory (BCI). Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini diuji dengan uji statistik Paired t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulannya yaitu terdapat pengaruh Family Therapy terhadap koping remaja Tingkat akhir di SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. Background: Adolescence is the transition from childhood to adulthood and is an important stage in a person's life. In fact, adolescence often experiences constraints on academic performance or achievement, hence why students must be able to cope with stress (Koping Stress) well. Coping relates to stressful situations, emotional reactions, including anger and depression, can be considered part of the coping process, as well as voluntary actions taken in response to stressful events. Family therapy is a new way to know a person's problems, understand individuals, develop symptoms and how to solve them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Family Therapy on coping for end-level adolescents at SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. Method: This study uses quantitative methods. The research design of this study used a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was class XII SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. The technique used in sampling is Purposive sampling technique with a sample of 47 respondents. The instrument used is the Brief COPE Inventory (BCI) questionnaire. Results: The results of this study were tested with a statistical test Paired t-test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) values of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion is that there is an influence of Family Therapy on the coping of final level adolescents at SMK Kesehatan Darussalam. Suggestion: It is expected that adolescent coping is included in the Adaptive coping mechanism.
