Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang : Sectio caesarea merupakan tindakan operasi dengan anastesi yang dapat menimbulkan nyeri. Salah satu tindakan untuk mengurangi nyeri dengan metode non farmakologis yaitu teknik relaksasi benson. Angka persalinan di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikpapandengan sectio caesarea tahun 2021 mencapai 198 persalinan, pada tahun 2022 yaitu 215 persalinan serta pada bulan Januari sampai Desember 2023 yaitu 248 persalinan. Data tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah persalinan dengan sectio caesarea. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikpapan dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara terhadap 20 orang ibu post sectio caesarea di ruang nifas terdapat 13 orang mengalami nyeri berat dan 7 orang mengalami nyeri sedang, hal ini menyebabkan ibu menunda melakukan mobilisasi dini, pemberian laktasi pada bayinya, serta merasa cemas yang disebabkan oleh nyeri tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik relaksasi benson terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikpapan. Metode : Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest and posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu post sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikapan dengan rata-rata perbulan 22 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 17 orang pada 5 sampai dengan 17 Januari 2024. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Analisa data adalah analisa univariat dan analisa bivariat menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil : Didapatkan intensitas nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea sebelum dilakukan teknik relaksasi benson sebagian besar mengalami nyeri berat sebanyak 9 orang (52,9%), sedangkan sesudah dilakukan teknik relaksasi benson intensitas nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea sebagian besar mengalami nyeri ringan yaitu 10 orang (58,8%). Terdapat pengaruh teknik relaksasi benson terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea dengan nilai p value 0,001. Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh teknik relaksasi benson terhadap intensitas nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikpapan Abstract Background: Sectio caesarea is a surgical procedure with anesthesia that can cause pain. One of the action to reduce pain with non-pharmacological methods is the benson relaxation technique. The number of deliveries at Pertamina Balikpapan Hospital with caesarean section in 2021 reached 198 deliveries, in 2022 there were 215 births and in January to December 2023 there were 248 births. These data show an increase in the number of deliveries by caesarean section. Based on a preliminary study at Pertamina Balikpapan Hospital by observing and interviewing 20 mothers post caesarean section. In the postpartum room there were 13 people experiencing severe pain and 7 people experiencing moderate pain, this caused mothers to delay early mobilization, giving lactation to their babies, as well as feeling anxious caused by the pain. This study aims to determine the effect of the benson relaxation technique on pain intensity in post-cesarean section mothers at Pertamina Balikpapan Hospital. Method: The design used in this research was pre-experimental with a one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were all post-cesarean section mothers at the Pertamina Hospital in Balikapan with an average of 22 people per month. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling method of 17 people from 5 to 17 January 2024. Data were collected using observation sheets. Data analysis is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using wilcoxon test. Results: It was found that the intensity of pain in mothers after sectio caesarea before the Benson relaxation technique was carried out, the majority of them experienced severe pain as many as 9 people (52.9%), whereas after the Benson relaxation technique was carried out, the intensity of pain in post- sectio caesarea mothers experienced mild pain. namely 10 people (58.8%). There is an influence of the Benson relaxation technique on pain intensity in mothers post sectio caesarea with a p value of 0.001. Conclusion: There is an influence of the benson relaxation technique on the intensity of pain in mothers post Sectio Caesarea at Pertamina Hospital Balikpapan
